About Seattle Pet Valet
We arrange door to door pet moves by air to and from Seattle. We handle the planning, the paperwork, the crate and the airline booking. Licensed local partners handle the rides at each end.
Why we do this
Moving to a new city is a lot. Moving a pet at the same time adds a list of questions that are hard to get straight answers to. Can my dog fly on its own? What size crate? Does my cat need a vet certificate? Who picks them up when they land? What will it cost?
The answers are spread across airline cargo pages, state rules and PDF forms, and they change. Many pet movers only give a price after a phone call. We wanted to do it differently: give you a price online, keep the airline rules current, and take care of every part of the move that you want us to.
What we do
We move dogs and cats by air between Seattle and Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Jose, Phoenix, New York, Honolulu, Anchorage, Dallas, Houston, Denver, San Diego, Chicago, Boston, Washington, DC, Boise, Austin, Las Vegas, Miami, Atlanta, Minneapolis, Maui, Kona, Fairbanks and Juneau, in both directions. How the work is shared
We plan your move, book the airline, size and supply the crate, prepare the paperwork and keep you posted from start to finish. The pickups, airport check-ins and deliveries are done by licensed local partners in each city. The airline carries your pet on the flight.

What you can expect from us
A price without the wait
Many pet movers make you wait days for a quote. On most routes our form shows your price in about three minutes. When we price a move by hand, you hear from us within a day.
The right flight for your pet
We choose the flight and the timing that are easiest on your pet, and we check the airline rules for your pet, your route and your dates before we book.
Airline rules from the airlines
Breed rules, temperature limits, crate rules and health certificates come from the airline's own pages, with the date we last checked. Not from memory, and not from other people's blogs.
No promises we cannot keep
The airline makes the final call on every flight. We never promise one. We confirm space with the airline after you book, and we tell you straight away if anything changes.
Pets only on the rides
Owners never ride along on the rides we arrange. Pickups, check-ins and deliveries are done by licensed local partners.
A straight answer
If a move is not a good idea, or cannot be done, we say so. That includes dates the airline closes to pets and breeds the airline will not carry in the hold.
What we do not do
We keep our work focused so we can do it well.
- No road trips. We move pets by air. A flight is faster and calmer for a pet than days in a car.
- No rides without a move. Home pickup, the vet ride and the airport runs are part of a pet move. We do not arrange everyday vet, groomer or daycare trips.
- No end-of-life services, such as euthanasia appointments or transport of remains.
- Birds, reptiles and other exotic pets that are sensitive to temperature get a custom quote, and sometimes the honest answer is no.
