What do you need?

Four steps

How a pet move works

You tell us about your pet and where they are going. We take it from there and keep you posted at every step.

  1. 1

    Get your price

Fill in the form. On most routes you see your price as soon as you enter your contact details. For the rest, we send it within a day.

  2. 2

    Crate and paperwork

We suggest the right crate from your pet's measurements and supply it. Every pet flying in the cargo hold needs a health certificate: we tell you when and can arrange the ride to your vet.

  3. 3

    Pickup and check-in

Your pet is picked up at home and checked in at airport cargo before the flight. You get a message when they are checked in.

  4. 4

    Arrival

Your pet is collected at airport cargo when they land and brought to your new home. You get updates the whole way.

No waiting days for a quote. On most routes the form shows your price on screen in about three minutes, with a plain list of what is included.

Door to door, both ends

Pickup at home, the flight, and delivery to your new home, planned as one move instead of three separate bookings.

Rules from the airline itself

Breed rules, summer heat dates, crate sizes and Hawaii's entry steps come from the official pages, with the date we last checked.

Questions people ask

How much does it cost to fly a pet from Seattle?
It depends mostly on your pet's size: the airline charges by the weight of your pet and the crate together. The route, the distance from your home to the airport at each end, and extras like a crate or a vet ride count too. Fill in the form and on most routes you see your price in about three minutes. See what affects the cost.
Can my pet fly without me?
Yes. Your pet flies on its own as airline cargo in an approved crate. We take care of the booking, the paperwork, the crate and the check-in at SEA, and we arrange delivery to your new home at the other end. Moving to Seattle? We arrange pickup at your old home and delivery to your new one.
Can you move my dog or cat to Hawaii?
Yes. Hawaii has strict entry rules for dogs and cats (a microchip, rabies shots, a rabies blood test and a waiting period), so start planning 2 to 4 months ahead. See moving pets to Hawaii.
Do owners ride along?
No. Owners do not ride along on the rides we arrange. If you are flying with your pet, we arrange for your pet to be brought to SEA and you meet them at the terminal.
What if my dog is a snub-nosed breed?
Snub-nosed breeds, including all bulldogs, boxers, pugs and mastiffs, cannot fly in the cargo hold on the flights we use. If your pet is small enough, flying in the cabin with you may work. See snub-nosed breeds and flying.
Does my pet need a health certificate?
Yes, every pet flying in the cargo hold needs one from a licensed vet, issued within 10 days of the flight (14 days for Hawaii). We can arrange the ride to your vet. See vet health certificate for flying.
