Partners
We arrange door to door pet moves by air to and from Seattle. We plan the move, book the airline and prepare the paperwork, and we work with good local companies for the rides and with vet clinics for the travel paperwork.
Pet transport companies
We are always glad to hear from pet transport companies in the cities on our routes, and in cities we may fly to later. The work:
- Collect a pet at airport cargo after a flight from Seattle, with photo ID and the air waybill number we send you
- Deliver the pet to the owner's new home in the city and nearby towns
- For pets flying to Seattle, pick up the pet at home and check it in at airport cargo with the paperwork, no more than 4 hours before the flight
- Keep us and the owner posted at each step, with a photo at pickup and delivery
What we ask of partners
- USDA registration where it applies to your work, and any state or city permits you need
- Insurance for the pets in your care and for your vehicles
- Reliable availability. The airline wants pets collected within 4 hours of landing, so we need partners who are there on time and can work early mornings, evenings and weekends when flights land
- Climate controlled vehicles, and pets secured safely for the ride
Tell us which areas you cover, your vehicles, your price for an airport pickup with home delivery (and for a home pickup with cargo check-in), and how much notice you need.
Vet clinics in the Seattle area
Many of our customers use their own vet. Some do not have one, or are new to the area. We are building a short list of Seattle area clinics we can suggest for the travel health certificate.
The airline needs a health certificate from a licensed vet for every pet flying in the cargo hold, issued within 10 days of the flight (14 days for dogs and cats going to Hawaii). So the clinics that help most can:
- Book a travel health check within a few days, for new patients too
- Complete health certificates, and acclimation letters for winter flights to Alaska
- Help with Hawaii moves: microchips, rabies vaccinations, the blood draw for the rabies test, and tick treatment
- Send records by email, and quote a clear fee for the visit and the certificate
Clinics near SEA or on the way to the airport are especially useful.
